The first time was so nice, they just had to do it thrice! Multi-award-winning musician Davido and his beautiful wife, Chioma, recently tied the knot in front of friends and family in the American coastal city of Miami.

The couple is reported to have tied the knot in 2023 when they got married in court. This was followed by a traditional wedding held in Lagos, Nigeria, and since so much of Davido’s work takes place in the United States, Miami was the perfect destination to host their white wedding.

Daily Post Nigeria reports that the day before the ceremony, Chioma took to social media expressing excitement ahead of the big day.

In a post shared on her Instagram story, she captioned, “Less than 24 hours. Getting married for the third time.”

Taking to social media, the “Assurance” hitmaker shared a gallery of pictures of their wedding attire taken from a recent photoshoot in the build-up to the star-studded ceremony, which hosted several A-listers in the entertainment industry.

The duo first met at Babcock University in Nigeria. At the time, Davido was pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Music, while Chioma studied Economics, but later transitioned into becoming a chef.

Speaking to TRT Global, he revealed that at the time, his music career was not what it is today; however, his friends would often tease him, pointing out that he had everything he wanted besides a wife.

Nevertheless, he says he is glad that he met Chioma before he was famous.

“If I were single today, and I met a lady, I would feel she is probably talking to me because I am Davido, the celebrity who has money,” he told the above-mentioned publication.
