UK rapper Dave is officially heading to South Africa for his first-ever local tour, with two arena shows locked in for October 2026. The award-winning artist will perform at SunBet Arena in Pretoria on 3 October, before taking the stage at the Grand Arena at GrandWest in Cape Town on 6 October.

The announcement is a big moment for local fans who have waited years to see the British star perform on South African soil. Dave, known for sharp lyricism and emotionally heavy storytelling, is bringing The Boy Who Played the Harp Tour to local audiences as part of his 2026 live run.

Tickets Go Live this Week

Tickets for the two South African shows will go on sale on 27 March through Ticketmaster. One of the source reports also says selected pre-sale access will be available through Mastercard and the Big Concerts Fan Club before the general sale opens.

That ticket date is likely to draw strong demand, especially with Dave’s local debut now confirmed for two major venues. The tour is being brought to South Africa by Big Concerts, which has handled several major international live events in the country.

Why This Tour Matters

At 27, Dave has already built a huge international profile and remains one of the most influential names in contemporary UK rap. One source notes that he became the first UK artist to debut three consecutive albums at number one on the UK Albums Chart. His catalogue includes major tracks such as “Starlight”, “Sprinter” and “Funky Friday”, which have helped grow his reach well beyond Britain.

Dave’s first confirmed visit for live shows in the country, and the scale of the venues suggests promoters expect serious turnout. With Pretoria and Cape Town now on the schedule, October is shaping up to be a major month for local music lovers.
