It was goals galore in Round three of the DStv Diski Challenge. 15 goals were scored all in all. Cape Town City continued their fine form to the DStv Diski Challenge.
On Saturday they defeated Soweto giants Orlando Pirates 2-0 making it three wins out of three.
The first half has less action in front of goal as both sides could not find the back of the net. Jaedin Rhodes and Luphumlo Sifumba scored late in the second half to seal a victory for City.
The victory saw the City maintain their 100% win streak and cement their place at the summit of the log standings. On the other hand, the Buccaneers are eighth with four points.
In another match, Mamelodi Sundowns got back to winning ways defeating TS Galaxy 3-1. Last time out they lost one nil to Golden Arrows.
Bongolwethu Siyasi, Oageng Phiri found the Brazilians. The win put Masandawana second on the log, whilst the Rockets are rooted to the bottom of the log with zero points.
On Sunday afternoon, Kaizer Chiefs were held to a one all draw at home by Chippa United. Lubabalo Letota opened the scoring for the visitors in the 30th minute before Mduduzi Shabalala levelled matters 10 mintues later thanks to an assist by Mfundo Vilakazi.
The second half was less in action in terms of scoring, both teams could not convert their chances.The share of spoils moved Amakhosi from the bottom of the log to 14th whilst the Chilli Boys moved to fourth.
