CT City & Chiefs Starting XIs Announced

Cape Town City and Kaizer Chiefs have announced their starting XIs for tonight’s DStv Premiership clash.

Last season’s runners-up had a nightmare start to the 2022/23 league campaign, collecting just two points from their first five games.

After starting with three successive defeats to Mamelodi Sundowns, Swallows FC and AmaZulu, City drew their last two games with Maritzburg United and Stellenbosch FC.

Chiefs, meanwhile, started with a defeat to Royal AM before beating Maritzburg at home. They then suffered another loss away from home at Mamelodi Sundowns before picking up another home win against Richards Bay.

Last season, City picked up four points against Amakhosi after both sides played to a goalless draw in Cape Town before the Citizens beat the Glamour Boys 2-1 at FNB Stadium.
