Crime prevention imbizo wraps up in Durban

Crime is getting out of hand. That’s the cry of residents in Clermont township in Durban.

They shared their frustrations with Police Minister Bheki Cele during a crime prevention imbizo in the area.

Cele is calling on communities to stop protecting criminals and rather help bring them to book.

The minister says they are also looking at assisting Community policing forums with much-needed resources.
