Court dismisses Afriforum’s hate speech case against the EFF

Court does not find that the song “kiss the boer” or “kill the boer” constitutes hate speech. Court also finds AfriForum failed to prove this. Matter has been dismissed with costs.

The court found that there is no evidence that the struggle song directly incited violence.

All 5 witnesses on behalf of AfriForum have been disqualified. Ernst Roets is too invested in the matter according to the judge & others testimony was unable to show how the song “kill the boer” by the EFF had serious repercussions on farm attacks.
