Cosmos defender Zozi dies aged 25 | Breaking News

GladAfrica Championship club Jomo Cosmos have announced the sudden passing of one of their players.

Cosmos took to their social media platforms on Wednesday to announced that Sivuyile “Marcelo” Zozi (25) had passed on Wednesday morning.

The club did not divulge the cause of his death.

‘The Jomo Cosmos family is in mourning following the loss of one of our players , Sivuyile “Marcelo” Zozi , who signed with Ezenkosi at the start of the current season,” read a club statement.

“The Club is working closely with his family to ensure that our beloved colleague receives a befitting send off.

“We thank Marcelo for his dedication and service to Ezenkosi .He will be sorely missed by all of us at Ezenkosi.”
