All Stars CEO Morgan Mammila has left the club after just one game into the 2022/23 season, iDiski Times can confirm.
Last week Tuesday, Mammila had unveiled the club’s new name and logo via his social media account, saying the team will now be known as All Stars FC, nicknamed ‘Umlilo’.
All Stars started their campaign with a 1-0 win at Platinum City Rovers and things seems to have been working well since their relocation from Cape Town to Johannesburg, but on Monday Farpost first reported that Mammila has left his post.
This publication can confirm the news, with a source close to the club saying he left over some admin issues, including struggles to secure a home ground for the newly-relocated club.
Meanwhile, SABC Sport report that Mammila is close to a return to Chippa United, where the club’s former CEO will take up a role in the technical team.
