Mzansi was saddened by the untimely death of Bab’Dlamuka, born Mthandeni Dlamuka from the reality show Isencane Lengane. Confirmed reports have it that he passed away on Sunday, 10 July.

Bab’ Dlamuka was the lead cast of the show since 2019. He was the father of teen husband Siyacela Dlamuka, who married Thando Msomi. Siyacela confirmed the news of his passing on Facebook. Taking it to social media, he posted:

“Inhliziyo Yami ibuhlungu Rest in peace Dlamuka. [My heart is sour Rest in peace Dlamuka.”

However, according to the Daily Sun, a source close to the family confirmed the death. Since the news went viral, social media condolence messages have flooded comment sections on several celebrated Twitter users and celebs.

Fans across the globe have posted messages of condolences to Isencane Lengane’s family as they paid tribute to the late father. Reports have it that the famous on-screen character we all love to hate died after a long illness. During the much talked about season two, he revealed that he was battling diabetes and was wheelchair-bound. The show is now in its fourth season.

No doubt viewers of the show admitted that they have a love-hate relationship with the late reality TV star. However, many felt that he spoilt Siyacela to his detriment. On the other hand, others found that he disciplined him when he would go out of line, saying they would remember him for coining the word “sthuphethu”, his pronunciation of “stupid”.
