A number of South African coaches have paid tribute to the late former Bafana Bafana coach Clive Barker who passed away on Saturday, 10 June.

Barker succumbed to Lewy Body Dementia (LBD); the illness he battled with for a very long time, and he passed away aged 78.
Barker coached and mentored many players who later in their football careers ventured into coaching, and they include Pitso Mosimane and Roger de Sa.

For instance, De Sa was part of the Bafana Bafana squad that lifted the 1996 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) trophy with Barker as the head coach.
The South African website has compiled all the tributes from these South African coaches, and also that of Mike Makaab whom he coached.
