Christian Keyes blasts Tyler Perry for trying to steal his show

Actor, writer, and creator of All the Queen’s Men, Christian Keyes, has blasted Tyler Perry for trying to steal his credit for the show.

Keyes addressed his displeasure on a live on Monday.

“I’m not mad about not being there no more. I mean, the studio tried to steal my ‘Created By” credit,” said Keyes.

“…It’s you putting the show out there, but you’re also the same studio, Tyler Perry Studios, that removed my ‘Creative By’ credit. And I had to call a union to have them make you, force TPS to put it back on there,” said Keyes.

“I’m not sad that my show isn’t there anymore. After season five, my show won’t be there anymore. And I won’t have to deal with that kind of shady, corny leadership over there that would dare … you got 16-17 shows. I got one. Let me have credit,” he said.

“My contract says I get credit, why your corny a** trying to steal my credit? Because you can’t write like me,” said Keyes.

Keyes went on to say that he wrote the whole of Season 1, with Perry adding 10-15 minutes to the episodes and adding the tenth episode, unbeknownst to him.

He said he wasn’t worried at that point, although he should have been.

“… You completely changed the integrity of a creation,” concluded Keyes.

Another time Christian Keyes spoke out

On a previous occasion, Keyes had expressed disappointment to find out on the internet that his show had been renewed for another season.
