Chiefs Vs Royal AM Interrupted

The match between Kaizer Chiefs and Royal AM at Peter Mokaba Stadium has been interrupted due to light issues.

Chiefs looked on top on their return to Polokwane for a first time in eight years, while Royal AM looked dangerous via Mfundo Thikazi without either side creating real clear scoring opportunities.

However, after 18 minutes the game had to be halted due to an issue with the floodlights.

Technicians are looking into it, while both sets of players have been sent into the change rooms by the match official.

UPDATE: The match has since resumed after a short break in play.
