Chiefs & Sekhukhune Starting XI Announced

Kaizer Chiefs and Sekhukhune United confirmed their starting lineup for this evening’s DStv Premiership match day eight at Moses Mabhida Stadium.

After back-to-back defeats including an exit in the MTN8 semifinals, Chiefs aim to return back to winning ways and keep their league title hopes alive when they face Babina Noko this evening.

Amakhosi are yet to win a game in the month of September as they’ve lost two and drawn two.

The excitement remains high though for the Amakhosi faithful supporters after the signing of Sibongiseni Mthethwa from Stellenbosch FC, who is on the bench tonight.

Molefe Ntseki is under a lot of pressure without any doubt as he has already experienced the anger of the supporters.

Babina Noko have had a fairly smooth start of the season as they sit sixth in the standings and have a chance to advance to the next stage of the CAF Confederation Cup after defeating DR Congo side Saint Eloi Lupopo.

Brandon Truter’s side defeated Chiefs twice last season and collected six points. A win for them would send them to the third place.

The Ephefeni Glamour boys have eight points in seven matches. A win for them would send them to fifth place.

Chiefs XI: Petersen, Dove, Frosler, Ditlhokwe, Ngcobo, Maart, Castillo, Matlou, Saile, Du Preez, Mmodi.

Subs: Khune, Msimango, Mthethwa, Kwinika, Mdantsane, Potsane, Chivaviro, Shabalala, Zwane
