Chiefs & Royal AM Starting XIs Announced

Kaizer Chiefs and Royal AM have announced their starting XIs ahead of today’s DStv Premiership clash at Peter Mokaba Stadium.

The Amakhosi return to Polokwane for the first time in eight years and last time they played at the venue they secured their last Premier Soccer League title in May 2013 thanks to a 1-1 draw with SuperSport United.

On Sunday, they will an opponent they struggled to beat off late, as Royal AM have won all three league games since Shauwn ‘Ma’ Mkhize took over the club.

The two side’s last met in the Macufe Cup in September when Thwihli Thwahla beat the Amakhosi on penalties.

However, both sides come into this game with a poor run of form, with Chiefs losing their last three games, while also failing to score and Royal AM, winning just one of their five matches since the league’s restart.

Chiefs sit in sixth place on the log with 24 points and could move one spot up with a win a draw, while Royal AM, who are currently in 10th, could climb above the Amakhosi with a win.
