It is believed that Kaizer Chiefs are monitoring two young players at a GladAfrica Championship team, as they look to build for the future.
iDiski Times has learnt that Kaizer Chiefs scouts were in Cape Town last month, assessing Cape Town Spurs’ Chumani Butsaka.
The scouts were on hand to watch Spurs draw 1-1 with Polokwane City, and see how the 20-year- old right-winger is developing.
Butsaka, who is in his third season in the first team, has 22 appearances for Spurs this season, scoring three goals.
Butsaka is not only the Spurs youngster that Chiefs are reportedly interested in, and they were also impressed with defender Rushwin Dortley during their camp in the Cape in January.

“Yes, they were here for the Bayhill tournament and attended our game to watch our boys,” a source at Cape Town Spurs confirmed.
“Remember, Kaizer Chiefs were in Cape Town in January for a camp and were impressed by Rushwin and Chumani then already.
“But it wasn’t only Chiefs scouts, scouts from Mamelodi Sundowns were also at that game.”
It remains unclear if then-coach Stuart Baxter was involved in the scouting process, and whether his departure from the club will effect any potential interest.
