Kaizer Chiefs and Marumo Gallants have announced their line-ups for today’s DStv Premiership clash.
Amakhosi have lost their last four games in the league, something unheard of for a club of their stature.
Even the departure of head coach Stuart Baxter couldn’t end the negative run, as Arthur Zwane and Dillon Sheppard who took over the reigns until the end of the season started with three defeats.
On Tuesday, the Glamour Boys will host an in-form Gallants side, who have only lost two games in 2022 so far – a run, which has seen them book their ticket for the Nedbank Cup final.
However, in the league Gallants are without a win in their last five matches and Zwane insisted his Chiefs will be ready to bring the Dan Malesela’s side back down to earth.

“We are playing against a possession-based team, who want to keep the ball and wait for the right moment before they attack and we have to guard against that.
“They make you to sleep and once you drop your guard or slow down, they play that forward pass very quickly. They’re very comfortable on the ball.
“We will be ready for that and we will give them something to think about when we are in possession of the ball.
“We will make sure we get into the right spaces and take the right options as well, and then punish them when we create those goalscoring opportunities.”
Chiefs need the three points in the race for the CAF competitions, sitting on 39 points, five behind third-place Cape Town City, while Gallants enter the match in 11th position with 31 points.
