Kaizer Chiefs have announced Molefi Ntseki’s first starting XI as head coach for their friendly match against Young Africans SC.
Amakhosi will play the double-treble winners as part of their Ya Mwananchi event, which is dedicated to unveiling the club’s new signings to their supporters at the Benjamin Mkapa Stadium.
It is Chiefs’ first official friendly match under Ntseki, who replaced Arthur Zwane in the head coach role, with the latter being shifted back to assistant.
Ntseki’s first starting Xi includes new signings Given Msimango and Thatayaone Ditlhokwe in defence, Edson Castillo, Tebogo Potsane and Mduduzi Mdantsane, while Ranga Chivaviro is ruled out with an injury.
The club confirmed “a number of key players will not take part in today’s international friendly against Young Africans SC due to an assortment of niggling injuries”. Those players sidelined are Keagan Dolly, Happy Mashiane, Wandile Duba, Ranga Chivaviro and Ashley Du Preez.
