- Centurion residents will experience little to no water for three days as the City of Tshwane relocates a water pipeline on Olievenhoutbosch Road in Irene.
- The maintenance work will take place from Tuesday to Thursday, running daily from 08h00 to 18h00.
- Several areas, including Highveld and Southdowns, are expected to be affected while residents are urged to use water sparingly.
Residents in Centurion have been warned to prepare for little to no water over the next few days as the City of Tshwane carries out planned water pipeline maintenance.
The City will be relocating an existing water pipeline on Olievenhoutbosch Road in Irene, a project expected to disrupt water supply in several areas.
The maintenance is scheduled to take place from Tuesday until Thursday, 12 March 2026. Tshwane spokesperson Lindela Mashigo says the work will run for ten hours each day, from 08h00 to 18h00.
The following areas are expected to be affected:
- Byls Bridge
- Centurion Residential Estate
- Highveld Technopark
- Highveld businesses
- Highveld (all extensions)
- Southdowns Shopping Centre
- Southdowns View
- Southdowns Estate
Mashigo says the city apologises for the inconvenience and urges residents to use water sparingly during the maintenance period.
