CBC Update: Current Captains Revealed

After the starting XIs for the Carling Black Label Cup were confirmed, fans can still vote for their favourite captains.

The Carling Black Label Cup will take place on Saturday, when Mamelodi Sundowns take on AmaZulu in the first semi-final at 9:30 before Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates meet each other in the other semi at 12:00.

The third place will be decided via a penalty shootout, while the final also takes place on the same day. On Monday, the starting XIs of the four participants were confirmed, but fans can still vote for their favourite captains.

On Thursday, Carling Black Label gave an update about the current voting, with Keagan Dolly leading the votes for Kaizer Chiefs after Itumeleng Khune has been ruled out due to injury.

Innocent Maela is leading then votes for Pirates – should he be fit enough to play, while Andile Jali is nominated as Sundowns skipper and Makhehleni Makhaula will wear the Usuthu armband as usual.
