Cassper Nyovest on squashing beef with AKA

South African hip-hop star and entrepreneur Cassper Nyovest has shot down a suggestion to quash the beef and make peace with his archenemy AKA, saying he is not Nelson Mandela.

Cass, real name Refiloe Phoolo tweeted, asking if people would be keen for a Fill Up The Dome 2.0. In the comments section, one fan pleaded with him to settle his beef with AKA, real name Kiernan Forbes, for the sake of hip hop artists who have died.

Rappers AKA and Cassper Nyovest have had a longstanding contention which is almost clocking a decade. Their beef allegedly stemmed from Cassper Nyovest’s meteoric rise in 2014, which saw him challenging AKA’s hip hop dominance.

In 2015, the two musicians reportedly met at a club, and AKA is said to have smacked Nyovest in the face. At one point, AKA allegedly swore at Nyovest’s mom, and it hurt the latter so much that he would never forgive AKA.
