Cassper Nyovest has opened up about working on a brand-new album, revealing that the process has reignited a passion for music he didn’t expect to feel again at this stage of his career.

Taking to Instagram, the rapper shared a series of reflective posts, describing the project as a turning point that has pushed him to reconnect with his artistry in a deeper way.

After years in the industry and a catalogue of multiple albums, Nyovest admitted the experience has come as a surprise even to him.

“I never thought after eight albums, I could rediscover myself and what I wanna do and get excited about making music again,” he said.

The award-winning artist explained that the journey has been both thrilling and intimidating, as he navigates a fresh creative space with renewed hunger.

According to him, the emotions tied to the project are unlike anything he has felt in recent years.

“I feel like a new artist. I have this crazy fear; at the same time, it’s mixed with a lot of excitement,” he shared.

Despite the anticipation surrounding the release, Nyovest made it clear that his priority is getting the project right before unveiling it to the public.

“I can’t wait for this project to be complete, first the right way, and to drop and to share it with you guys,” he added.

Beyond the excitement, the rapper also revealed that his ambitions have grown significantly.

While his earlier focus was simply on creating solid bodies of work, he now has his sights set much higher, aiming to dominate across genres and categories.

“If you just love music, you’re gonna enjoy it, trust me. When I started, I just wanted to make a good album. Now I want Album of the Year, not Hip Hop Album of the Year, I want THE Album of the Year. I wanna shake everybody,” he stated.
