Cassper Nyovest Discusses New Album ‘Solomon’ and Tour with Nasty C

Cassper Nyovest is gearing up for the release of his eagerly awaited album, “Solomon.” While he insists he has nothing left to prove, the project will provide clarity for his devoted fans and aspiring artists.
In an interview with news reporters, the “Siyathandana” hitmaker revealed that Maglera Doe Boy is the only rapper featured on his seventh studio album, set to drop on September 17th.
Cassper’s Position in the Game
“This is like a Grootman album for me. I’ve settled into my position in the game. This is who I am. I’m no longer young, no longer the hottest guy on the block, and I’m not as excited as the new guys. But I’m the guy who did it like nobody else did.
“I’m the guy with the game, with jewels. I’m the guy they want to get information from. So this is the album where I’m basically giving out game. I’m in my element and calm about it. I’m very particular about it,” he said.

The Making of “Solomon”
Cassper recorded his album in a remote location with his team and chose to document the process with hopes of releasing it one day.
“We documented it. You can see the album being made, and it’s so beautiful because it was made so simply, with nothing complicated. It was also a collaborative effort. I don’t know where we’re going to put it. There’s got to be a bag to it.”
African Throne Tour with Nasty C
In addition to his album release, Cassper has a joint tour called “African Throne” with Nasty C starting on September 1st.
The tour will feature their collaborations and new music from their latest projects.
“It’s nice to hear something new that’s exciting and to collaborate with someone like that. That’s why I always have exciting collaborations with new guys because I’m always looking to be exciting.
“This tour is a testament to the vibrant tapestry of sounds and rhythms that Africa has gifted to the world. We’re thrilled to bring this celebration to every corner of the globe and share the magic of our music.”
Nasty C recently became a father and spoke about how it has affected his career.
“He put so many batteries in my back,” Nasty C said about the birth of his first child. “Fatherhood has made me take my career a bit more seriously.”
