Cassper Nyovest vows never to use Uber again after courier disaster

Cassper Nyovest has taken to social media to call out Uber South Africa after a disappointing experience with their courier service.

The rapper, who has been preparing for his upcoming Fill Up concert, shared his frustration in an Instagram post on Tuesday, revealing that a driver allegedly stole a gift he had sent to a friend.

Tagging Uber and Uber Eats, Nyovest accused the company of poor service and lack of accountability.

He explained that he booked Uber Courier to deliver a special package, but the driver, identified as Dymon, never completed the delivery.

Instead, the driver allegedly marked the order as returned to the sender.

“Uber has become such complete rubbish! Yesterday I tried to send a gift to one of my friends through Uber Courier and the driver decided to steal the gift and report that he returned to me!!!” Cassper wrote.

He added that the expensive gift was meant to surprise a friend who had been looking forward to it, but the gesture was ruined.

The hitmaker also claimed this was not the first time he had issues with the service, accusing Uber Eats of previously mishandling his food orders.

“Such an expensive gift, ruined my day and ruined the gesture for my friend… I’ll never use Uber Courier again! Such rubbish!!!” he ranted.

Cassper also shared a photo of the driver on his Instagram, further fuelling reactions from fans who expressed concern and shared their own frustrations with the platform.
