Thobeka Majozi, Cassper Nyovest’s ex-partner, has revealed that the rapper and songwriter cheated on her after their son was diagnosed with cancer.
Thobeka shared the news on her birthday, announcing that her son is now cancer-free.
“When my son was eight months old, he was diagnosed with cancer,” she wrote on Instagram. “I’ve always tried to keep my life private, but balancing that with everything I was dealing with was tough. I spent two years living in a hospital while my son went through chemotherapy and surgeries.”
During this challenging time, Thobeka discovered that Cassper had cheated on her with social media influencer and TV host Pulane Mojaki, who is now his wife.
Thobeka said that Pulane was aware of her son’s illness but still flaunted her relationship with Cassper.
“After I found out, he broke up with her and tried to fix things with me, but I couldn’t trust him anymore. It wasn’t just the cheating – it was the bad timing,” Thobeka explained.
“I had to stop worrying about myself and focus on my baby. At that moment, his health was the most important thing. Faith and family helped us get through it all, and both our families stood by us.”
Cassper had previously admitted on a podcast that he struggled with sex addiction and ego issues.
“I was living a secret life, doing things I thought were fine because no one knew. But I ended up hurting the person I loved the most,” he said.
Although they are no longer a couple, Thobeka and Cassper are now focused on their son’s health and happiness.
