The fixtures for the Carling Knockout Cup round of 16 have been revealed after the draw was concluded on Tuesday.
The Carling Knockout Cup was formally announced by PSL and Carling Black Label last year. It replaces the Telkom Knockout that was last played in 2019 and was won by Mamelodi Sundowns, defeating Maritzburg United 2-1 in the final.
The Carling Knockout Cup comes in the same format as the Telkom Knockout. It starts with the Last 16, quarterfinals, semifinals and the final to determine the winner.
Orlando Pirates, who recently won MTN8, will host the DStv Premiership returnees Cape Town Spurs as they look to add the second trophy this season. Meanwhile, Sundowns will take a trip to TS Galaxy with the Tshwane giants looking to defend the knockout cup.
And Kaizer Chiefs will welcome AmaZulu FC at FNB Stadium as they aim to end an eight-year trophy drought.
