Cardi B has confirmed that she is expecting her fourth child, her first with boyfriend and NFL player Stefon Diggs.
A long-awaited reveal
The rapper, who already has three children with her estranged husband Offset, shared the news during an exclusive interview with Gayle King on CBS Mornings. After weeks of speculation from fans, she admitted, “I’m having a baby with my boyfriend Stefon Diggs, I feel strong. I feel happy.”
The couple went public earlier this year after being spotted courtside at a basketball game. Speaking about her relationship, Cardi B said, “I feel like I’m in a good space. I feel very strong. I feel very powerful that I’m doing all this work. But I’m doing all this work while I’m creating a baby, and me and my man, we’re very supportive of each other.”
Keeping the news private
Although rumours about her pregnancy had been circulating online, Cardi B explained that she chose to wait before making an announcement. “Let me close some deals first… and you don’t want to really say right away that you’re pregnant. Let me see a couple more sonograms. Let my baby be healthy,” she said.
She revealed that the baby is due early in the new year, just before she embarks on her highly anticipated 2026 tour.
New beginnings
The rapper admitted that the pregnancy came as a result of “having a little too much fun”, but said both she and Diggs are thrilled about starting a family together. She also spoke candidly about learning to open her heart again after her difficult split from Offset, explaining that she had to allow herself to be vulnerable in order to embrace new love.
Balancing motherhood and music
Alongside preparing to welcome her baby, Cardi B is readying the release of her second album Am I The Drama. She encouraged her fans to support the record, joking that she will “need to buy pampers” as she steps into life as a mother of four.
The news marks a fresh chapter for the chart-topping star, who is juggling career milestones with personal joy as she looks ahead to motherhood once again
