Cameroon has expelled star goalkeeper Andre Onana from their 2022 FIFA World Cup squad after breaching disciplinary rules in the camp.
According to multiple sources, FECAFOOT has made the decision and Devis Epassy will be standing in against Serbia this afternoon.
It’s been suggested the issue was due to a heated disagreement with the technical team over his playing style, in which they have asked him to be less eccentric in his approach.
Onana was once banned from all football-related activities by FIFA for taking a banned substance, although he later own the case on the grounds of mistakenly taking his wife’s medication – which saw the case won via the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS).
