The Mselekus undeniably know how to command television authority, as it has been announced that “cameras will keep rolling” throughout season 9 of Uthando Nes’thembu, with the extension of four episodes.

This is due to the show’s popularity, which showcases the intricate dynamics within the Mseleku family, focusing on themes such as love, support, legacy, business, betrayal, and forgiveness.

‘UTHANDO NES’THEMBU’ EXTENDED BY FOUR EPISODES

Mzansi Magic officially announced that the final episode of Uthando Nes’thembu will not broadcast on 30 April as originally planned but will now air on 14 May.

“The cameras will keep rolling eMzumbe with an extension of four episodes,” read the caption on Instagram.

In the next episodes, viewers will finally watch Musa and his incoming wife, Samke MaKhwela, take their relationship to the next level as they celebrate their traditional ceremony.

Other episodes will show another rocky meeting between Musa and MaKhumalo, as well as a moment where Musa seeks MaYeni’s support regarding the traditional ceremony for MaKhwela, which she appears to refuse.

A RIVETING EDITION OF ‘UTHANDO NES’THEMBU: UNCUT’

Following the success of season 8 in 2025, Uthando Nes’thembu released a follow-up “uncut” edition in which the family tackles lingering moments and also shares unedited scenes from the season.

Standout moments include a showdown between Musa and his second wife, Nokukhanya MaYeni, where he accused her of not embracing their son’s ex-girlfriend, Vuyokazi Nciweni.

Other memorable moments include Musa’s tense conversation with MaKhumalo and MaNgwabe’s stance on divorcing him.

Musa also revealed that in a family meeting with the Yeni family, they asked for an apology from MaKhumalo because their daughter felt disrespected when she described her as a delusional person.
