CAF Confirms Draw Dates for Afcon, CHAN & AWCON

CAF has announced the dates for the draw for the group stage for the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers, as well as draw dates for the Africa Women’s Cup Of Nations and CHAN qualifiers.

The group stages for the 2023 Afcon qualifiers are set to take place in June and the draw will be conducted on Tuesday, 19 April 2022.

Bafana Bafana, who missed out on the Afcon finals in Cameroon earlier this year, will enter the draw at this stage.

Meanwhile, with the finals in Morocco set for July, the AWCON draw will happen in the host country on the 25th of April, and Banyana Banyana will learn their fate.

Finally CHAN qualifiers will also begin in July, and the qualifiers will be drawn on the 28th of April.

The CHAN finals are set for Algeria next year.
