These ladies just like them rough! So over the weekend Muvhango star Buhle Samuels had her dream traditional wedding with one of SA’s most dangerous men.
She did try to keep it a secret but the wedding was too big for people in Eastern Cape not to notice especially since she was getting married to Thando Sonqishe. People who spoke about this wedding had different things to say with some alarming allegations.
Truly the allegation gave some of us goosebumps and our bodies were shivering. Iyoh, yoh yohhhh, in fact, the hairs on our back are still standing as we write. When a Twitter user Musa Khawulane posted about the wedding he wrote: “A look inside Buhle Samuels traditional wedding with Thando who is an alleged gangster behind heists and things.”

Hmmm, now this raised curiosity we wondered if Buhle Samuels would really want to spend the rest of her life with a criminal. Carrying on a search on Google about him, SurgeZirc SA discovered that Thando Sonqishe was arrested in 2017 as he was part of a gang of seven men suspected of being involved in what’s considered one of South Africa’s biggest heists.
According to reports, they were part of the controversial OR Tambo international airport heist. The gang was allegedly in a marked police vehicle and stole R24 million in foreign currency from an SA Airways plane after it landed on March 7, 2017.
Sonqishe allegedly supplied the blue police lights. When they were arrested, he and another man are said to have admitted to being part of the planning and execution of the heist. Reports go on to further say that Sonqishe jumped out of a window and hid on his neighbour’s roof when police arrived at his house to arrest him.
During his bail application, the court heard that R13,000 was found at Sonqishe’s girlfriend’s residence at that time. Sonqishe owns a Lamborghini Gallardo‚ Toyota Hilux and a Hyundai I20 as well as a home valued at approximately R3 million in Blue Valley Golf Estate but declared his monthly income as R30 000.
It could be a mistaken identity but the neighbours of the dangerous man confirmed that he too was getting married over the weekend. A neighbour who also grew up in Nomlacu, Eastern Cape said they witnessed the wedding “It was at the village and that big tent was packed.”
That is Thando Sonqishe? 😲 YHO!!!
