Gianluigi Buffon has penned a new deal with Serie B club, Parma.
The 44-year-old shot-stopper’s new contract will expire in June 2024.
Buffon has played 23 league games, conceded 23 goals and kept eight clean sheets in the process for Parma in the current campaign.
The goalie previously represented the likes of Juventus and Paris Saint-Germain.
He is one of the few recorded players to have made over 1,100 professional career appearances.
With 176 international caps, the goal-minder is the most capped player in the history of the Italian national team, the seventh-most capped footballer of all time (joint with Hossam Hassan), and the third-most capped European international player ever.
