Orlando Pirates have officially announced the signing of their academy product Bheki Mabuza from Marumo Gallants.
Mabuza played for the Pirates DStv Diski Challenge (DDC) team alongside the likes of Mohau Nkota and Relebohile Mofokeng.
The now 23-year-old later joined Marumo Gallants in an attempt to make a name for himself in the Betway Premiership.
And Mabuza has done just that with his excellent performances for Gallants, and Pirates took notice of his talent.
Mabuza leaves Marumo Gallants having featured 35 times across all competitions, scoring three times and providing one assist.
In a statement released on Wednesday, Pirates confirmed that Mabuza was lured on a permanent deal while Daniel Msendami and Abdoulaye Mariko moved to Gallants on loan as part of the deal.

“Orlando Pirates Football Club is pleased to announce that an agreement has been reached with Marumo Gallants for the permanent transfer of Bheki Mabuza,” reads part of the statement.
“The move marks a return to familiar surroundings for Mabuza, who was previously part of the Buccaneers setup.
“During his time away from the Club, Mabuza made encouraging progress and impressed. His performances at Gallants convinced the Club that he is ready to return and take the next step in his career.”
