Tshwane Metro Police Department (TMPD) Constable Peter “Gagash” Nonyane and his wife, suspended attorney Charlotte Tibana, are expected to appeal the denial of bail at the Polokwane High Court on 21 October 2026.
The couple remain in custody while facing charges linked to the alleged looting of deceased estates, with the State alleging that about R11 million was defrauded and laundered.
Their co-accused, Rirhandzu Tibana and Jabulani Maluleke, were each granted R60,000 bail, while the case continues.
