Mbeki And Zuma To Testify At TRC Cases Inquiry
Former presidents Thabo Mbeki and Jacob Zuma will testify before the TRC cases inquiry later this month after losing their bid to have chairperson Justice Sisi Khampepe recused.
Mbeki will testify on 19 and 20 October, while Zuma is scheduled to appear on 22 October.
The Constitutional Court dismissed their recusal application on 31 August.
The inquiry, established by President Cyril Ramaphosa in 2025, is probing alleged political interference in apartheid-era cases referred by the Truth and Reconciliation Commission.
Both former presidents deny interfering in the cases.
