BREAKING: CAF Confirm CAFCC & CAFCL Kick-Off Times

CAF have confirmed that Friday’s CAF Confederation Cup final between Orlando Pirates and RS Berkane will kick off on Friday at 21:00, South African time.

The Confederation of African Football confirmed the news on Tuesday after the match officials of the game were already published by the Zambian Football Association earlier.

“CAF has confirmed that this weekend’s highly anticipated TotalEnergies CAF Confederation Cup fixture between Orlando Pirates (South Africa) and RS Berkane (Morocco) will kick-off at 20h00 local time (19h00 GMT),” CAF said in a statement.

“The TotalEnergies CAF Confederation Cup will be played on Friday, 20 May 2022 at Godswill Akpabio International Stadium in Uyo, Nigeria.“

Meanwhile, the CAF Champions League final between Pitso Mosimane’s Al Ahly and Wydad Athletic Club will kick off at 21:00, South African time on Monday, 30 May.

The match will take place at Wydad’s home ground, the Mohammed V Stadium in Casablanca, which will be a massive advantage for the Moroccan side.

“The TotalEnergies CAF Champions League final will be played at Mohammed V Stadium in Casablanca at 20h00 local time (19h00 GMT) on Monday night, 30 May 2022,” CAF added.

“Al Ahly will play Wydad Athletic Club in what is expected to be one of the thrilling encounters.

“Both finals will be shown live in a number of territories in Africa, Middle East, Asia and Europe.”
