‘Boo’d up’ hitmaker Ella Mai coming to SA: Concert date, prices

Award-winning British R&B singer-songwriter Ella Mai will be coming to South Africa to perform in Sun City and Cape Town this April.

ELLA MAI CONCERT IN SOUTH AFRICA

Singer Ella Mai is joining a long list of international artists who will be performing in South Africa this year. Doja Cat, who has a South African father, will be headlining the Global Citizen concert in March. Bryan Adams will be performing in April. American rapper J Cole will be performing in December. Boyz II Men will be in South Africa in May.

Now, Ella Mai, best known for her hit songs Trip, Boo’d up, Whatchamacallit and more, is also set to perform in South Africa in April. She has concerts scheduled in Sun City and Cape Town. The Sun City performance is part of the three-day Konka Kulture Weekend experience, presented in partnership with Konka and Vertex Events, in association with Sun City.

CONCERT DATES AND PRICES

  • Sun City Superbowl – Saturday 25 April. This is part of the highly anticipated Konka Kulture Weekend.
  • GrandWest, Cape Town – Sunday 26 April

The ticket prices range from R720 to R1290, excluding the booking fee. The following artists will be joining Ella Mai on stage:

  • Sjava
  • Nasty C
  • Zee Nxumalo
  • Scorpion Kings
  • Uncle Waffles
  • Oscar Mbo

This tour follows the release of her latest album DYSLM, featuring songs like Things and Tell Her.
