Media personality Bonang Matheba could keep it to herself as there has been an outrage of the department’s decision to erect a 22 million flag

The Minister of Sports and creations Nathi Mthethwa defended the plans to contracts a 22 million flag in his interview with eNCA.  Government wants to erect a flag at Freedom Park in Pretoria to the tune of R22-million. He says the project is part of his department’s mandate to foster social cohesion.

Bonang further tweeted that the Minister did not know what he was doing and also called for the minister to be fired.
