Boity to loose her mansion over unpaid loan
Rapper and entrepreneur Boity Thulo could be at risk of losing her multi-million rand Centurion home following reports of unpaid loan repayments.
According to Daily Sun, the luxury mansion, which Boity purchased in 2021 for over R4.2 million, was financed through a loan from Leemark Financial Services.
The property was officially registered in her name in March 2022.
Court papers cited in the report allege that the company has applied for judgment after Boity reportedly failed to settle the full loan amount.
While she is said to have paid R3.7 million of the agreed sum, an outstanding balance of more than R400,000 remains unpaid, with the reported figure standing at R491,813.
The development has sparked renewed attention on Boity’s property journey, which began years earlier.
She bought her first home in 2016 at the age of 26, a milestone she openly described as both exciting and sobering.
“Ownership comes with a massive sense of responsibility and an understanding of what is important,” she said at the time.
“When you own something you treat it like a child … I have a better understanding of time, and things I shouldn’t waste my breath on, as it takes away from the things I should be focusing on.”
