Black Coffee has been making all sorts of headlines, from bagging a Grammy Award to producing Canadian Rapper Drake’s Album. In the wake of his fame, Mzansi has been trying to connect the dots about his booking fees. We can all agree that he has the plug and the bling.

Of interest is that he is the wealthiest African DJ with a whopping net worth of $60 million, which amounts to R990 million. And it’s not a secret that he makes a fortune from the decks and has seen himself as one of the world’s most DJs. He has since deserted Mzansi after seemingly finding Europe as his new home.

Of late, he has been dupped as the resident DJ of Ibiza and has fast become a darling of Europe and has seen himself playing around some of the world’s finest musicians, Pharrell Williams and Usher. Against his whopping net worth, Mzansi has tried to connect the dots on his booking fees.

However, unlike other who make their booking fees known, Black Coffee keeps his booking fees exclusive, but a few celebs who have booked him in recent years has let Mzansi sneak into his booking fees. Controversial media personality and Idols SA judge Somizi once revealed that Black Coffee charge exorbitant fees for his sets.

This comes after the media personality rendered his services for his four-legged wedding with Mohale. On his four-part wedding special, he spoke about Coffee’s surprise, adding that it was the best one yet.

“Then Black Coffee happened…best surprise ever. Getting Black Coffee is a dream come true for us. We love him. He was part of our dream list, but hey, $100k… we don’t have it,” he said.

However, this was two years ago and the letter charged a whopping $100, which was equivalent to R1 675 350 back then. Well in the mix of things three years he is now one of the most expensive DJs to book not only in Africa but the world at large.

Black Coffee is one of the biggest DJs in the world, and one of the largest musical artists to ever come out of Africa. Charging up to $300,000 which amounts to five million three hundred seventy-nine thousand four hundred thirty-five rands a set, he’s one of the most coveted and in-demand DJs in the game today.
