South African musician Fantastic SA has taken a major step in his career after officially joining Big Zulu’s record label, Inkabi Records.

The Afro-pop singer now becomes part of the label’s growing roster, which already includes notable artists such as Lwah Ndlunkulu, Xowla, Siya Ntuli and Starr Healer.

To celebrate the new chapter, Fantastic SA has released a new single titled Umhlabalaba, featuring Big Zulu and fellow artist Olefied Khetha.

The track marks his first release under the label and introduces fans to what he describes as a deeply personal song about love and emotional connection.

Speaking about the milestone, Fantastic SA said joining the label felt like the right move for his journey in music.

“Joining the Inkabi Records family feels like coming home. Working with Big Zulu and Olefied Khetha on Umhlabalaba has been an incredible journey. I learned so much from their artistry and energy.”

The singer also shared that the song explores the theme of love in a world that often feels overwhelming and crowded.

“This song is special because it speaks to the heart. It’s about that one person you hold close in a world that often feels crowded. I’m thankful for the belief Nkabi Records has in me and I can’t wait for the world to hear what we’ve been cooking.”

Big Zulu also welcomed the rising star to the label, expressing confidence in the talent and passion he brings to the Inkabi Records family.

“At Inkabi Records we don’t just look for talent; we look for family. Fantastic SA brings fire and depth to this label that we’ve been needing. Umhlabalaba is just a glimpse of what he is capable of. We welcome him with open arms and remind him that this is your home now, Nkabi Records family stands with you.”
