Onismor Bhasera says SuperSport United are looking to bounce back against Royal AM on Sunday when they host the KZN outfit in the DStv Premiership.

SuperSport lost their league game, away to Maritzburg United, and the eighth placed side are looking to get back on track at the Lucas Masterpieces Moripe Stadium on Sunday.

Royal AM are currently third, four points ahead of SuperSport, though have played an additional game.

The veteran Zimbabwean defender says they’ve been working on a few things at training, and are looking to get maximum points at home.

“Of course we’ve been working on different combinations,” Bhasera told the club’s media department.

“Going to play Royal AM, the coach has been working on different combinations and the guys have been working very hard, raring to go, they’re looking forward to the match so we hope it’s going to be a different result.

“We are playing at home, we need to go there and the show that we are playing at home and make sure we collect maximum points.

“And the guys have been showing that training here, they’ve been working very hard, a lot of enthusiasm and the guys they’re raring to go and I’m happy, I’m happy with what I’ve seen here at training, the morale is high and the guys are ready to go.

“On Sunday, you know it’s football, but we are going in there to win. I think the other thing is we need to try and keep a clean sheet, because we know we always get a goal.

“If you keep a clean sheet and if you can manage to get an early goal, then we can settle early and play our normal football and not try to knick the match at the later stage of the match, but we try to keep a clean sheet and make sure we try to get an early goal so that we can settle very early and the play our normal game.”
