Betway Premiership LOG heading into FIFA international break

After five rounds of action, the Betway Premiership will take a break until 14 September due to the FIFA international break.

Bafana Bafana will take on Lesotho (Friday, 5 September) and Nigeria (Tuesday, 9 September) in World Cup Group C qualifiers in the coming days.

Both fixtures kick off at 18:00 (SA time).

Goal difference

Heading into the break, Sekhukhune United top the Betway Premiership standings on goal difference from Kaizer Chiefs.

Defending champions Mamelodi Sundowns loom large in third place, with Orlando Pirates, having won their three most recent matches, now up to fifth place.

At the bottom of the standings, Chippa United bring up the rear with a single point, with newcomers Orbit College second from bottom.
