Beef season 2: What you need to know

After a year and a half, the Netflix hit show Beef is finally gearing up for a new season. The anthology series will feature an entirely new cast, just like how the format of White Lotus goes.

If you thought season one was a wild ride, this new season promises to be an emotional tidal wave.

Season one introduced us to Danny (Steven Yeun) and Amy (Ali Wong), who were both unapologetically unfiltered. Their petty road-rage feud escalated into a week-long spiral of destruction, self-sabotage and jaw-dropping emotional honesty.

After much anticipation, the Netflix team has finally announced that Beef season 2 will premiere on Thursday, April 16, 2026.

According to the streaming giant, season 2 will consist of eight 30-minute episodes, two fewer than the show’s first instalment. Four Hollywood superstar actors will lead the cast of Beef season 2. These include: Oscar Isaac, Carey Mulligan, Charles Melton, and Cailee Spaeny. Netflix hasn’t given many details about their characters, but here is a brief log-line for the season:

One thing is for sure, the one will be raw, funny, painful and somehow brilliant. In other words, beneath the polished surfaces and flawless smiles, there will be plenty of tension and drama that the cast will have to deal with on the new season.
