BCM Stars, Madrid and Magesi secure provincial playoffs spots | ABC Motsepe League – Front Page

With the ABC Motsepe League reaching its fever pitch, teams continue to show the desire to finish top and qualify for the provincial and national playoffs.

The South African football third-tier weekend fixtures were in full swing as we witnessed three teams from different provinces book their spots in provincial playoffs after winning their respective streams.

BCM Stars were declared the Eastern Cape ABC Motsepe League Stream B Champions after a comfortable 4-1 victory over Birmingham City. As a result, the side is languishing on the summit of Stream B with 31 points from 14 outings.

BCM will face Spear of the Nation in the provincial playoffs.

Kimberley Real Madrid FC

Over to the Northern Cape, Kimberley Real Madrid qualified to the provincial playoffs following their 3-1 win against United Rovers in Stream B, leaving them on top of the standings with 34 points after 16 games.

Madrid will now play either NC Professionals or Upington City from Stream A in the playoffs.

Meanwhile, Magesi FC won Stream B of the Limpopo ABC Motsepe League with two games to spare. As things stand, the side sit top of the stream table, having amassed 40 points after 14 matches played.

Magesi will lock horns with Mpheni Home Defenders or Ablex United from Stream A the provincial inter stream playoffs.
