Bayana Bayana knocked out of WAFCON by Nigeria’s Super Falcons

Defending Champions, Banyana Banyana have been knocked out of the 2024 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations by Nigeria’s Super Falcons.

On Tuesday, the South African team was disqualified after a vibrant performance in the 2024 tournament.

The Super Falcons bagged the first goal through a penalty at the first half of the match.

Bayana equalised second half of the game, with Linda Motlhalo scoring the goal.

However, Nigerian’s women football team emerged winner after 90 minutes of the game.

Hence, the match ended 2 – 1 with the Super Falcons furthering into the finals.
