About Lulaway
When Jake Wills and Errol Freeman noticed the need for cost-effective and efficient methods for young South Africans to access available job opportunities, Lulaway was born. The vision of the company ensures systematic catalytic change for the South African youth to access and retain employment.
Initially, the youth had to face several hurdles while entering the working world. They relied heavily on internet cafes for procuring CVs and searching for different work positions online but with the unavailability of entry-level jobs on the internet, the youth faced problems. Lulaway comes to the aid of these South African youths. Lulaway effectively bridges the gap between job seekers and different employer establishments.
Over 200 job centres are run by Lulaway in 9 provinces. These centres help the youth to access different jobs available at little or no cost at all. Advanced technological platform with an easy interface supports job seekers and helps in addressing the different hurdles faced by them.
Lulaway envisions being the primary driver of change in South Africa and creating sustainable youth job creation. It has developed as an enigma that has touched the lives of more than 300,000 South African job seekers. With an excellent infrastructure and dedicated team, Lula way has sent more than 55,000 job seekers to interviews and has a record of placing more than 30,000 people in different jobs.
Lulaway have established their national footprint in different provinces and only wishes to grow, support and change South Africa, “one job at a time”.
BankSETA Internship programme 2022
Lulaway is offering BankSETA internship programme where unemployed applicants are invited to pursue a 12-month learning experience. This internship provides the opportunity to gain 1-year work experience as well as NQF Level 6 qualification.
The interns receive a stipend of R4500 per month for a contract of 12-months. The internship even welcomes applications from individuals with disabilities.

Who should apply?
Interested applicants must meet the mentioned down below are the eligibility criteria for the BankSETA internship programme 2022:
- Completed 3-year degree or diploma qualification
- No criminal record and clear credit
- Unemployed and not participating in any learnership program
- Under the age of 35 years (as in 1st July 2022)
- The candidates should not be involved in other types of studies between 1st July 2022 and 30th June 2023.
- Individuals with disabilities need to provide a medical certificate to confirm the nature of the disability
- Individuals need to have possession of SA ID i.e., has to be a South African citizen
- Excellent in written and verbal communication (English)
