Daughter of a popular South African media personality and businessman, Bahumi opens up about having a father like Somizi who is gay.
The actress’ parents are Som and Palesa and the trio have opened up about their personal lives on the reality TV show named, Living The Dream with Somizi.
Bahumi says she has no problem with her father being gay, as he’s there for her.
“I’ve never spoken about having a gay dad. That’s because having a gay dad was not a factor for me. I couldn’t necessarily differentiate between gay dad and straight dad. It was just a dad for me. I just knew he was there for me. It never changed how I look at him as a father,” she said.
Meanwhile, she recently confirmed changing her surname from her maternals’ to her paternal which is Mhlongo.
