This festive season may just be one to remember following the announcement that yet another Grammy Award-winning legend is set to grace the Mzansi stage.

Thirteen-time Grammy winner Babyface will soon return to South African soil, where he is expected to headline the All White Soul Sessions Concert in Pretoria on the 12th and 13th of December.

The announcement comes at a time when he appears to have a series of upcoming shows scheduled for October and November in Las Vegas and Asia – now, it is Africa’s turn.

The 66-year-old recently announced the news via his Instagram page.

“It’s a week full of announcements, apparently South Africa, I’ll be seeing you December 12 & 13 in Pretoria. I can’t wait! I hear we are having an all white dress code, and I know everyone will look stunning. See you soon!”

Following the announcement, fans in his comment section went into a state of hysteria.

Also in the comments was fellow artist Deborah Cox, who recently visited Mzansi, writing, “Wooooooo! (accompanied by heart eyes)”.

The last time Babyface visited the country was in 2022 when he performed at the DSTV Delicious Festival, an annual event held in South Africa that celebrates food, music, art, and fashion, with a focus on showcasing South African and international talent.

To build on the success of last year’s events, which saw musicians, Chris Brown, Busta Rhymes, and Jason Derulo all showcase performances, this year promises the same level of unforgettable entertainment.

Also making their way down south is the jazz saxophonist Kenny G, Doja Cat, Travis Scott, and Lauryn Hill, who each have performances of their own at various events and festivals.
