BEST POP AWARD
Ariana Grande, who also won Best Pop, delivered an emotional speech directly to her fans.
“I want to start, again, with my fans: Thank you so, so, so much. I love you with all my heart. Since I was a teenager, and I will for my whole life,” she said.
ARIANA GRANDE’S SANCTUARY IN ART
She went on to reflect on how art has shaped her journey. “Art has been a safe space for me since I was a kid. I’m so grateful I get to do this with my life.
Thank you for growing with me and being so supportive of me as a person, navigating in real time to determine which creative itch needs to be scratched next.
Whether it’s acting, music, musical theatre or a little bit of tour,” she told the audience.
BRIGHTER DAYS AHEAD
Ariana Grande also underlined the meaning of the project. “This project is about the hard work that is healing all different kinds of trauma and coming home to our young selves.
If you’re on that journey, please continue onward, because I promise there are brighter days ahead.”
Breslauer, who directed the video, praised his team and paid tribute to his family. “I’m so supported by the best team in the business.
I just want to give a special shoutout to my wife. We just had our first baby, so the real queen is her.”
