Argentina and the Netherlands have announced their starting line-ups for their quarter-final at Lusail Iconic Stadium this evening.

The Dutch are coming to this game after beating2026 World Cup hosts USA by 3-1.

Holland are still unbeaten in this tournament, scoring seven goals in their four games they’ve and conceded just two. But without any doubts they know it won’t be an easy task to face Lionel Messi’ side.

Meanwhile, the Albiceleste have recovered well after starting the tournament with a shock 2-1 defeat to Saudi Arabia, winning their next three games.

The two sides last faced each other at the 2014 World Cup in Brazil, when Argentina won on penalties, knocking the Netherlands out in the semi-finals.

Overall, both teams have faced each other nine times, with Netherlands winning four, while Argentina ended victorious just once and four contests ending in a draw.

Here’s how they line-up:

Argentina XI: E Martínez; Molina, Romero, Otamendi, L Martínez, Acuña; De Paul, Fernández, Mac Allister; Messi, Álvarez.

Netherlands XI: Noppert; Dumfries, Timber, Van Dijk, Aké, Blind; De Roon, De Jong; Gakpo, Bergwijn, Depay
